Providing a wealth of design possibilities, decorative laminated glass provides style without compromising safety. By incorporating a decorative mesh or fabric layer with the laminating media, we can produce custom laminated glass for a variety of decorative applications.

What are decorative laminated glass panels?
At abc Glass Processing, decorative glass panels are made by bonding a mesh or fabric interlayer between two sheets of glass. As with standard laminated glass, the interlayer is made from polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and performs to the same safety and strength standards.
Spanning digital print effects, stainless steel wire mesh glass and fabric laminated glass, decorative glass is available at abc with a choice of standard interlayer styles. We also accommodate client design specifications for bespoke projects. For example, the interlayer for your decorative glass wall panels could have an added sandblasted effect or the background could be painted in any RAL colour to coordinate with a wider décor scheme.
Like regular laminated glass, both our mesh and fabric laminated glass can be combined with or without toughened safety glass. Although decorative glass requiring cut-outs and holes during the processing stages will need to be toughened to maintain the stability of the structure.

Delivery information
We operate a fleet of delivery vehicles staffed by our own drivers, ensuring the highest standards of customer and product care. Our delivery service is free, with weekly delivery routes operated throughout the south of England. Regular delivery areas are shown on the map below. We can deliver glass to areas outside of our usual delivery area for large projects. Alternatively, you can collect your glass from our Portsmouth factory.
